A vodka for all occasions, but ideal in a classic vodka soda finished with a good squeeze of lime.
You can’t hide with great vodka – the quality is very up front. VRSD No.3 Vodka is made from a base of 100% British wheat spirit, which leads to a versatile and supremely balanced vodka. Clean and crisp, with subtle flavours which emerge when mixed, and a viscosity, emphasised when the spirit is well chilled. The inspiration with No.3 was the great vodka of Scandinavia, where texture and clarity are the priority, but a little flavour and character not discouraged.
Tasting note
By itself, VRSD No.3 is glassy and pristine, with subtle mineral character – like mineral water. It’s texturally soft, creamy, weighty and smooth, with the alcohol providing just a touch of heat and the perception of white pepper spice. Mixed, the vodka opens up, with a grassy character emerging, accented with subtleties of oatmeal and lemon zest.
It produces a suave, saline and zesty vodka soda, especially with a good squeeze of lime.
